Austin enjoys working with patients of all ages, activity levels, and diagnoses. He gained experience through a diverse background of clinical experiences particularly involving treatment of the shoulder and knee. He is especially passionate regarding the treatment of vestibular disorders resulting from concussions or benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV).
As a child, Austin received physical therapy services following the removal of a benign tumor from his leg. He progressed from non-weight bearing and training with crutches to high-level, sport-specific training in order to safely return to athletics. Through this experience, Austin was inspired to pursue a career in physical therapy where he could return individuals to their prior level of function with the same level of quality care and expertise that he received during his time in physical therapy.
Austin lives in Wauwatosa with his wife, Haley. During his free time, he enjoys reading, traveling, and coaching football.
