Caroline graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology-Exercise and Movement Science in 2014. She then went on to graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2017.
Before joining the Freedom Physical Therapy team, she worked for four years at a private orthopedic outpatient practice in Southern California. She enjoys treating patients of all ages with simple and complex musculoskeletal conditions. Caroline values a hands-on treatment approach to provide individualized care to all her patients. She has recently returned to Wisconsin to be closer to her family and the community where she grew up.
During her clinical rotations, Caroline was mentored by a pelvic floor therapist, which sparked her interest in treating pelvic floor dysfunction and other Women’s Health issues. She has focused her continuing education on pelvic health courses to treat urinary incontinence, constipation and bowel dysfunction, pelvic pain, pregnancy, and postpartum conditions. Caroline particularly loves treating the pelvic floor as she feels it is a commonly overlooked area of dysfunction and is excited to provide this service to the community.
In addition to women’s health, Caroline is Level II Dry Needling Certified through Myopain Seminars. She has seen extraordinary benefits from incorporating dry needling into her treatments to help her patients relieve pain and restore function. She also has a passion for treating post-surgery, balance, shoulder, and knee. She enjoys working with patients to get them back to their pre-injury status.
Caroline enjoys going on walks with her dog, spending time with her family, and reading in her free time.
