Colin O’Brien graduated from University of Wisconsin Green Bay with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Biology with a Pre-Medical emphasis while also competing as a Division 1 soccer player. He then earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.
Colin has participated in numerous continuing education courses including advanced manual therapy techniques for the spine, treatment of TMJ disorders and advanced balance and dizziness training. In 2013 he will complete his certification in intramuscular dry needling. Colin has had the opportunity to study at the James Andrews Sports Medicine Institute of Birmingham AL working with athletes from high school to the professional ranks. He also established his specialty in Vestibular Rehab, which encompasses the treatment of dizziness and balance disorders, while at the Geisinger Vestibular and Balance Center of Danville PA.
Colin attempts to empower his patients through education on their condition and the course of therapy allowing a collaborative approach to get you back to where you want to be and provide you the tools to stay that way. Colin’s professional affiliations include the American Physical Therapy Association, Wisconsin Physical Therapy Association, and the Vestibular Disorders Association.
Colin resides in the North Shore with his wife and family. He’s a fervent Badger and Packer fan and enjoys biking and trail running. He remains active in the local soccer community.
