Kassie graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training in 2015 from Marquette University. Shortly after in 2017, she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy and graduated with honors. While at Marquette, she participated in the advanced orthopedics course focusing on various manual therapy techniques, which has developed her strong interest in hands-on approach to patient care.
During her clinical work in both athletic training and physical therapy, she worked with a variety of athletes competing in high school through the Division 1 college level. In 2014, she completed an internship with the Division III Wisconsin Lutheran Football team. Kassie has also has clinical experience working with athletes in soccer, lacrosse, track and field, tennis, and basketball. Although she has vast previous experience working with athletes, Kassie also enjoys treating patients with various orthopedic issues, work injuries, motor vehicle accidents, and chronic pain.
By the age of 14, Kassie knew she wanted to work in the healthcare field as a physical therapist. Growing up, she was inspired to work with a team to help improve the quality of life and outlook of others from watching her mother work in healthcare. Kassie’s early involvements in sports lead her to athletic training and subsequently physical therapy.
Kassie currently lives in Oak Creek, WI. In her free time enjoys reading, following Marquette and Michigan State basketball, and visiting her family’s lake cottage in Michigan.
