Marion Verplancke

Marion Verplancke graduated from Concordia University-Wisconsin in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Marketing and Communications. She continued her education at Concordia and received her Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy in 2002. Subsequent to receiving her Masters Degree, Marion joined the team at St. Joseph’s – Milwaukee Hospital where she cared for patients in both an inpatient and outpatient setting. While at St. Joseph’s, Marion acquired extensive experience in both orthopedic and neurological disorders.

In 2004, Marion joined a privately owned therapy clinic in Kenosha, where she held the position of Staff Therapist and Program Director. During this time she had extensive training in manual therapy techniques and Myofascial Release. Marion focuses on the “whole body” approach regarding Occupational Therapy. Marion’s treatment philosophy and incorporation of manual therapy compliment the mission of Freedom Physical Therapy by evaluating and treating the whole person with one-on-one care.

Marion is a Licensed Occupational Therapist. Among Marion’s professional affiliations are American Occupational Therapist Association and the Wisconsin Occupational Therapist Association.

Marion, who grew up in the Milwaukee North Shore area, is excited to give back to her community. Marion is currently working on receiving certifications in hand therapy, lymphedema, and performing functional capacity evaluations. Marion and her husband enjoy traveling, vacationing in Door County, spending time with friends and family along with various outdoor activities.
