She practiced for the first ten years in San Diego, California, where she saw a diverse patient population in hospitals, nursing homes, and outpatient and sports clinics. For more than half of her time there, she had the opportunity to rehab the city’s lifeguards and law enforcement rescue teams. Since beginning her career, Penelope has taken extensive advanced coursework in manual therapy and optimizing body control and function. Her treatments encompass viewing the body as a whole system when treating an injured area.
Penelope works with a wide array of patient populations. Her extensive background allows her to successfully improve the quality of life for patients suffering from chronic pain conditions. She also has a strong experience in neurological rehab, sports medicine, and orthopedic care.
Penelope has also joined our women’s health team, providing women’s health services for pelvic pain, incontinence, lumbar, pelvic, and hip dysfunction, pre-natal, and post-partum care. In addition, she has been trained and is skilled in treating temporomandibular joint dysfunction.
In her free time, Penelope loves traveling and spending time with her husband and two children.
