This live concussion management course is a 16.0 CEU, 2-day evidence-based guide designed to prepare Physicians, Physical Therapists, and Athletic Trainers to evaluate and treat patients/athletes with concussions. You will learn to manage them from both acute and protracted recovery standpoints, and effectively treat them through full recovery. It will provide in-depth information to enable you to confidently perform comprehensive examination techniques, as well as effective interventions to treat most concussions through a combination of lectures and hands-on labs. Should patients not recover as expected, this course will also address the clinical decision-making process that is necessary for appropriate multi-disciplinary referrals. By the end of this course, you will possess the expertise and confidence to effectively manage patients/athletes with concussions.
