Adrienne Loukopoulos graduated from St. Norbert College with a bachelors of science with a biomedical concentration. She then pursued Occupational Therapy at  Mount Mary University where she graduated with a Master’s in Occupational Therapy. Through the program, she received specialized training in Advanced Hand and Worker Rehabilitation. Adrienne was selected for a competitive placement where she worked with Certified Hand Therapists (CHT) and hand and upper extremity surgeons. Throughout the placement, she focused on hand and upper extremity injuries and treatment including trauma, post-operative care, fractures, tendon injuries, soft tissue mobilizations, joint mobilizations, splinting, and wound care. Adrienne enjoys working with patients of all ages with hand, elbow, and shoulder ailments. She is passionate about splinting, post-operative wound care, and thumb arthritis.

Adrienne discovered the field of occupational therapy through her work with children on the Autism spectrum where she saw the impact OT had on the children’s ability to participate in school and everyday activities.  Adrienne was hired as an aide at Freedom Physical Therapy Services in Fox Point to gain insight and experience in the field. She saw the positive outcomes occupational therapists can have in orthopedic settings and decided to focus her studies on orthopedic conditions. She continued to work at Freedom through her time at school while receiving her master’s degree.

Adrienne grew up in Ozaukee County and currently resides in the Greater Milwaukee Area where she enjoys exploring new restaurants. She enjoys spending time in Eagle River, WI at her family’s cabin where she spends time on the lake fishing, wakeboarding, and boating. She also enjoys traveling and exploring new cultures. Adrienne has been to 13 different countries, but her favorite is Greece because she gets to visit her family.
