Molly Rittberg received her master’s degree in Physical Therapy in 2007 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and received her doctorate from Rosalind Franklin University (North Chicago) in 2009. She has since worked in an outpatient orthopedic practice where she worked with patients of all ages, injuries, and abilities. She has a wide variety of experiences including knee, ankle, foot, and hip injuries, post-operative conditions, spinal rehabilitation, and peripheral neuropathies. Molly uses her hands-on approach to customize patient therapies and ensures that they fit individual needs. Molly has helped to create, implement, and treat patients in the Freedom2Function PICS (Post Intensive Care Syndrome) program, becoming trained to assess and implement respiratory training devices to improve respiratory function in those recovering from illness all the way to top-level athletes. In 2020, Molly received her certification as a Falls Prevention Specialist, helping to increase balance function and prevent falls. With her additional training, she has assisted with the Stepping On program, which helps to reduce fall risks within the community. She is also a certified LSVT BIG therapist. LSVT BIG is a treatment program that helps people with Parkinson’s disease and other neurological disorders maintain and regain their ability to function. Molly also has her CGCP (Certified Geriatric Care Professional) certificate to help better evaluate and treat the geriatric population.
In her spare time, Molly enjoys spending time with her husband and children, biking, playing tennis, gardening, exploring the outdoors, and downhill skiing.
