Rachael grew up in Wheatland, Wyoming, and earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders with a minor in Disability Studies from the University of Wyoming. She then pursued her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at Concordia University Wisconsin in Mequon.
Rachael is passionate about building meaningful relationships with patients across the lifespan. She finds purpose in connecting with individuals during some of the most challenging stages of recovery—always striving to “meet patients where they are” to foster progress and healing. Her interest in the field of speech-language pathology began as a way to blend her love of communication and singing.
She provides specialized care in the areas of speech, language, fluency, cognition, and pragmatic language, in addition to offering swallowing therapy for patients of all ages. With a strong dedication to professional growth, Rachael is continually refining her skills to deliver the best outcomes for those she serves. Her passion for voice also remains a focus, as she continues to develop her expertise in that area.
Rachael brings extensive experience working with children ages 4 to 18, particularly in school-based settings. She is well-versed in Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and integrates therapy strategies that align with educational goals—often taking them a step further. She also enjoys working with adults to strengthen their functional communication and enhance quality of life.
With a background in sports, Rachael values a team-based approach to care. She believes in collaborating closely with her patients and colleagues to deliver clinically sound, ethical, and progressive therapy. Her commitment to lifelong learning and evidence-based practice ensures that each patient receives personalized, high-quality care tailored to their unique needs.
