Neurological Rehabilitation

Neurological rehabilitation is often necessary following injury to the brain, spinal cord, cranial or peripheral nerves. Nervous system damage or degeneration may occur as a result of accident, illness, infection, autoimmune conditions, lifestyle, or aging.

Freedom Occupational Therapists have advanced skills to assist in the complexity of neurological evaluation and treatment. Therapy is aimed at restoring function and independence.

Neurological conditions we specialize in include:

  • Migraines
  • Complex Regional Pain Syndrome
  • Brachial Plexus Injuries
  • Stroke
  • Developmental delay
  • Hypotonia
  • Phantom Pain
  • Chronic pain
  • Central Sensitization

Our therapists provide personalized assessment, set realistic treatment goals, and work toward patient or care giver assisted maintenance programs. We provide tools and strategies to maximize improvement, in an environment that is upbeat and inspiring.
