A native of Appleton, Anna graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology-Exercise and Movement Science. She then earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland-Baltimore in 2020.
Anna believes physical therapy is a group effort between the client and clinician and should be unique to the client’s lifestyle.
Since graduation, Anna has gained experience in outpatient orthopedics in the Milwaukee area. Anna has experience treating sports injuries, radiculopathy, soft tissue injuries, post-operative cases, patients with hypermobility, and patients with general aches and pains. She has a strong manual background including trigger point release, myofascial techniques, and minimal lever mid-range manipulation techniques. She is a Certified Myofascial Trigger Point specialist and combines dry needling with her manual skills. Anna draws from her knowledge of neuromuscular conditions as well as the basics of weightlifting to create her strength and balance programs. Anna has taken additional coursework through Herman and Wallace to evaluate and treat female pelvic pain and dysfunction as well as treating pregnant and post-partum patients. She has also taken additional coursework in treating temporomandibular joint dysfunction.
Anna enjoys early-morning weightlifting and strength training as her primary mode of physical activity. She also enjoys supporting Milwaukee small businesses and restaurants with her husband, being a dog mom, cooking new recipes, and tending to her indoor and outdoor gardens.
